Aria Nguyen

The Walla Walla Music Boosters are excited to announce Aria Nguyen, a 5th grader from Green Park Elementary School, as the winner of our logo design contest. Aria’s creative design was selected from numerous entries and will now serve as the new official logo for the organization.
We’re thrilled to showcase Aria’s talent, and her logo will be used on all Music Boosters’ materials moving forward. The organization extends heartfelt thanks to Aria and to all the students who participated in the contest.

Landon Kelly

A talented student from Walla Walla High School, Landon Kelly, a junior, was selected to participate in the prestigious Western International Band Clinic (WIBC) Honor Bands. WIBC, held annually in Seattle, brings together some of the best young musicians from around the world.

Hundreds of students from the United States, Canada, Japan, and Australia audition for the opportunity to perform with the honor bands, and being chosen is considered a significant achievement. Landon joined other high school musicians from around the world for a weekend of rehearsals and performances under the direction of renowned conductors.

The Western International Band Clinic is known for its rigorous selection process and its commitment to providing a platform for outstanding young musicians to refine their skills and perform with other like-minded peers. Participation in this event is an honor that offers invaluable experience in musical performance, collaboration, and leadership.

Landon joined the Honor Bands in Seattle on November 21-24, where they  rehearsed with other selected musicians before performing a public concert at the conclusion of the clinic.
