Mission Statement

To support the music programs throughout the Walla Walla Public School district, helping every music educator and student to have what they need to achieve excellence.

Our Story

Walla Walla Music Boosters was established in 1983 by a group of parents who wanted to support young musicians in the Walla Walla School District, and officially received non-profit status in 1986. Over the past 40+ years, Walla Walla Music Boosters has provided for the needs of music teachers and students in the Walla Walla Public Schools, by raising money to pay for items not covered by the school district.

We help cover participation and travel fees for students to participate in honor groups such as Solo and Ensemble competitions, All-State, All-Northwest, and the Western International Band Clinic, and fund middle and high school music festivals. We also assist in funding professional development for our teachers, and bring in clinicians for our various performing groups, as well as pay for many other costs, such as instrument repair, awards for students, and much more.
